Man... Mike Florio & Chris Simms get defensive about picking Bucs and getting trolled on twitter.

They aren't wrong. The saints were probably 5 plays away from being 2-5 instead of 5-2 going into the game. They haven't shown all season the ability to dominate anyone, so yeh, i'm not surprised they all picked the Bucs because until Sunday night, the Saints hadn't shown the ability to put a team away since week 1.

Good teams, good players, good coaches, are the difference in those five plays. Look at the current state of the Chargers. They're so close but keep losing games. They're 2-6, but could be 6-2 if just a handful of plays go differently for them.

Everyone knows how talented the Saints are. For awhile, yes, they were doing just enough to skate by. But Ryan Clark hit the nail on the head this morning when he said "This was the Saints team we thought we were going to get to start the year. This is a Saints team that if they keep playing like this will win a second Super Bowl."

The media all fell into their own hype of Tom Brady and forgot that the Saints were on a four game winning streak (without Michael Thomas) and the defense was starting to heat up (undefeated with Davenport).
