This is the scenario I would like to see play out. DA get a HC position somewhere and Nielsen get promoted to DC. I believe he would be an amazing DC. He would bring in another like minded coach to continue what he started at D-Line coach.

But I’ve always wondered...knowing ALL of the nuances of defensive line techniques....wouldn’t always automatically equate to knowing DB schemes, or play calls.
