Biggest line move in NFL history -6 to -14.5 ? (1 Viewer)

Maybe we will get to see Winston at QB again in the second half if the score gets out of hand.
Well we ain't scoring 40. It's just that the Broncos won't score at all unless we turn the ball over in our own territory.

Sean Payton will harp on ball security all game long tomorrow.

over-confident fools.

Until proven otherwise, all the QB's on our rosters are turnover machines, 2-3 resulting in short fields is enough to keep this came competitive, on the road in Denver by a very P'Oed off team, who has total license to try every trick play, gimmick and crazy thing and no one would blame them.

Y'all remember the Cleveland game in New Orleans when Fujita led the way for the Browns to WHOOP on us in merciless fashion? Yeah, a day like that is absolutely possible here...

I dont think 14.5 is big enough line. There is no way Denvers offense will be able to move the ball with consistency. It wouldnt be shocking if there were a lot of 3 and outs. Ssints D will be waiting for the run. If Denver does choose to pass its probably going to result in an incompletion.

Denvers pass D is okay but their run defense is atrocious. They've given up over 200 yards rushing twice and 129 to the Jets. Denvers defense is going to be gassed by second half.

Before you call anyone else a fool, you may wanna look at the boatload of grammatical errors in your own post. We've got sentence fragments, completely oblivious use of commas, a missing Oxford comma, run-ons, and a typo.

Guys I have been googling trying to find the largest line move in NFL history. I for the life of me can't find this info.

Anyone have any idea ?

P.S. I got down at -6 :)
You are one lucky son of a gun! Wish I had done so, but was waiting to see if it would fall any with Armstead being out. Are you going to make a small middle play now, coming back at Denver? I am surprised the books left the game up, with a huge potential middle (loss) setting up. I woild have thought they took the game down.

The books cannot go any higher for fear of getting hammered on a middle. That said, I see if the Saints get say a 20-24 point lead, middle of the 3rd and Denver is showing absolutely no chance of moving the ball consistently against the Saints starters, the Saints pull pretty much all of their key starters and their ends up being a middle.

Just got an e-mail. All three Qb's on Denvers roster have been ruled out due to covid. Back up Rb Royce Freeman called
up from the practice squad will be the Qb. That's why the line moved

i cannot answer as to the biggest line moves in NFL history. However, I just look up the origin of the term "cake walk". It is quite interesting.

Acually, WR Kendal Hinton is the guy being called up from the PS to play QB today. RB Freeman is their emergency QB but has no real QB experience beyond HS. Hinton played some QB at Wake Forest.

A couple of good threads on the front page on the topic from yesterday if anyone wants more detail and discussion about what happened. :9:

as far as I know, nobody has ever had to do this before. Perhaps it won’t be a cake walk but how do we know it won’t be. If you have no real pass offense, that has never turned out well for any offense, even the ones with a QB.

Im with Breesus, I actually feel bad for them.

We don't and that's the point.

Exactly.

My 23-0 prediction may be a bit conservative.
