I don't care if it's hard to see the white cleets. It's clearly out of bounds. It's trash.

One of the greatest 4th quarter comebacks in Brees' career (considering the defense he was up against) was ruined that day.

Yes, Drew had engineered a great comeback and game-winning drive, which was blown in inconceivable fashion. Drew is not only a couple of GW drives off the all-time lead, but also has a large number of GW drives that were blown; far more than any other QB if my memory serves me correctly. If even half of the blown game winners had held, he would easily have the all-time lead. He's the most clutch QB ever.

Wasn't that the same game a field goal was blocked b/c some Bronco used illegal leverage or something? (and wasn't called)

And there was another game in the SP era, where a Bronco defender was blatantly offsides, but it wasn't called. I think it was in the 4th qtr, and the Saints were driving for the win. But they lost that game too (I remember someone posting a screenshot here of the defender being way offsides)

Go ahead and flame me, but if you think our 2016 defense was going to keep Denver out of field goal range for the final 1:22 of that game to preserve a 24-23 win, you’re dreaming.

The only blessing is that we took a decent 2016 team that lost 3 games to special team mishaps and flipped that draft to become an elite team for the next 4 season.
