Chiefs are very beatable...if we would have had our receivers we win by at least 7.

but if you cannot score or sustain drives, it wont matter.

What got us in the end was the inability to turn 3rd downs into 1sts.

One great "defensive" weapon is a time consuming, TD scoring offense. You condense the game for the opponents offense down to making every play count. That pressure begins to build and most teams make a mistake/lose a bit of focus because of it.

We missed that Sunday early on, but started to see glimpses of it in the 4th. When we play that type of football ( which has been more often than not this season ) we are hard to beat.

I suspect there will be much greater focus offensively going fwd on execution and conversions.

time consuming drives that are successful will deflate a team like the chiefs and limit there possessions & as you said lead to a higher rate of errors... I think we punted 8 times that game & that’s a major problem
