Meaningless factoid that probably only interests me
My paternal grandfather invented the milk carton with the press-to-open lid, and the corrugated beer bottle cap. He also invented the machinery that made those items. He was chief engineer for Crown Cork & Seal as well as being one of the founding fathers of the company.
When I was 50, I worked with 4 women all in their mid 30's who were grandmothers. Their mothers were in their early 50's and were great-grandmothers. Go one generation further out, and my great-great-grandfather fought in the Civil War. He was born in 1835 and was a Colonel in Phil Sheridan's cavalry. We have his saber, forged in 1862 in Chicopee, Massachusetts.
