I know this will sound ludicrous, asinine, and unrealistic musings of my wish-fulfillment fantasy, but how much do I envy being in a position to draft Zach Wilson in the upcoming April draft? The team's that drafting him is getting the best, most capable NFL-ready QB in a decade since Andrew Luck and his presence, athletic talent, and poise will make any team that drafts him better very quickly. God forbid, almost instantaneously. BYU played in a NCAAF division that was overlooked and underappreciated compared to the PAC-12, ACC, and the all-mighty, all-conquering SEC, so a significant base of causal NCAAF fans didnt have as many opportunities to watch Zach Wilson develop into the maybe next Andrew Luck compared to Tua Tugaviola, Mac Jones, or Justin Fields this past couple of years. Trevor Lawrence had a great, talent-laden squad on both sides of the ball that he inherited from his predecessor and simply (and capably) steered the ship to even further success.
