I was going to start Ken Follet's Pillars of the Earth which runs nearly a thousand pages. Then I found out it was a trilogy. Then I found out it had a prequel. I went ahead and read the first chapter of POTE but it didn't grab me. Maybe later.
As a backup, I started The Red King which is second in the series of Star Trek Titan books (10) in which William Riker assumes command of the starship Titan. The great thing about these is that you don't have to read them consecutively which means that I can intersperse them with other reads.
But right now I don't what I'll read afterward but the habit I have developed is a good one and is causing me to watch less and less TV. Hopefully, my guitar habit will stick in the same way. I started private lessons to see if I can get to another level.
