Kyle Trask Pro Day

He’s a good pick in the 5th round. He doesn’t have any traits that stand out. His arm is okay. He reads defenses well. He can move in the pocket but isn’t mobile. He’s not tall. Maybe he’ll be as good as Kirk Cousins.
He isn’t a flashy dual threat QB, but Trask has every other quality of a great QB. He’s smart, has the intagibles and great leadership, handles pressure well, can read defenses, has the arm strength, has elite size, and is one of the most accurate QBs in the draft. Those are the traits that stand out. His arm is much better than “okay”, and he certainly is tall- 6’5”. Further, he has shown he can run. His big frame actually helps him as a short yard runner. Again, he had 2 rushing TDs against LSU and 1 against Alabama. Regarding intangibles, one thing you look for in a QB is a guy like brees who puts the off the field work in and works his arse off preparing. That’s exactly what Dan Mullen said you’re getting in Trask
