Also, does anyone remember ‘green stamps’? Not to be confused with food stamps.. they were like a retail thing that you could use to trade in for stuff from a catalogue?
They had a store in Metairie, and it was off Vets between Transcontinental and where Vets crosses under I-10, but closer to (and on the same side of the street) as Zuppardo's Economical.
