What I meant was that Thanos, a supreme power who killed him, would be nothing now. I didn't meant it as a revenge thing. Even though it would be possible. More that the infinity stones would be play things compared to controlling the timeline and being able to reset any reality.

Only thing I’ll add to this is that stones only work in their timeline
So he would have to get the 616 time stone and change this…
behind the scenes, the writers have talked about how hard they are working to make the time travel rules make sense - so like there aren’t the problems if Steve Rogers going back in time and living a whole other life
Loki changing 616 timeline creates all the problems for every movie/show hats come before
BUT
They weren’t super subtle with their ‘hey it’s getting close to the redline so we have to get out of here’ thing- which really seems like it’s foreshadowing an irreparable change to the timeline, so…???
