Trust Sean Payton for the Saints Winning.
CSP deserves a ton of credit. He was hired and then brought in an average QB to run HIS offense. People act like Brees was some HOF QB when SD cast him aside for their newly drafted prototypical QB. Brees was 30-29 with a 62% completion rate and had a benching for Flutie. He also was 7-9 in CSP's stolen 2012 season while going back to his 62% completion rate without CSP. His lowest with CSP as HC was 64% in 2006. So without CSP, Brees was a NFL QB with a losing record and a near league average completion rate. Whereas CSP was 0-3 without Brees in the 3 games he didn't play prior to 2019 (WK 17 2009, WK 3 2015, WK 17 2018) and then went 8-1 without Brees in 2019/2020 giving him a 8-4 record, with 2 of those games being meaningless Wk 17 games.
CSP extra credit: He turned Tony Romo into an NFL QB.
