Loki Disney Plus - Trailer

I’m not sure where the idea came from the stakes can only come from significant and final deaths
Breaking Bad the stakes were about whether or not WW could hold his family together
Similar with The Sopranos (or even something like Ozark)

this season Loki was confronted with his ineptitude (essentially) and he summoned the strength to change
His reward was to get double crossed by himself- WAY more fascinating than ‘did Mobius die?’

Because in real life the highest takes usually involve significant and final deaths. The threat of death to one of the main characters was laced all throughout BB, Sopranos, and Ozark (see Ozark season finale, Sopranos series finale, Hank in Ozymandias)

It can have its pluses (plusses?) and I liked the series overall but the idea of an infinite number of [bad guy] battling good guys just kind of makes my head hurt. Also the (new) Mobius hitting (old) Loki with the canned I Do Not Recognize You Who Are You? bit at the end was eyeroll-inducing.

Its just not my thing - I am a self-declared linear thinker without much imagination.
