Anything Over 6 or 7 wins with Winston at Qb would be considered a win
๐๐๐ I chose to go by what Iโve seen on film. Isnโt that how teams prepare for teams during the week ? I love my Saints and I Want the best on the field to represent the saints. We shall see how this plays out. Either way by week 4-5. Either he proves me wrong or Iโll hear excuses hit the board. The Saving grace is Coach Payton. I think if he even throws 1 interception that the rest of the games will be ball control and AK running 75% of the game just like he babied Taysom last year. So we shall see. All I remember is Winston being gifted great field position in that 49ers game by our defense and couldnโt even get the ball in once after multiple tries. I was at that game and I remember hearing some boos and fans looking like What the Fork!. Iโll be a Saints fan no matter what , but you also have to realize that half of the fan base is coming into the season with some skepticism. You can even say so is the front office given the contract Winston is on. Prove it or move it deal.

But weโre not simply talking about preparing for a QB during the week. Weโre talking about the Saints signing a new player. There IS a difference ya know!
If you REALLY wanna get the best, fullest picture on a player, you wanna gather as much information about him as you can! Thatโs a combination of film, stats, the level of coaching, the system he played in, the personnel, etc. I think THIS is what Sean Payton n his staff did before they signed Winston last year.
And despite barely playing last season, the Saints resigned Winston during the offseason. So why did they do it?
Oh, I know! They did it simply to have a decent backup, and/or somebody to compete with Taysom this year!
See, I get it now!

EDIT: Jus saw u posted this on another thread:
โWinston is trash. Iโm very concerned with his football IQ.โ
See, NOW everything makes much more sense!!!!
So I REALLY get it now!!!!
