I read that 40 percent of new cases are with the vaccinated.
This board really needs to be moderated for blatant irresponsible disinformation like this. I remember your comments from the political boards so this is nothing new from you. Take this right wing disinformation and put it right where it should be to yourself and other bringer of no truths. It's a dangerous game you are playing especially In a state that has rising hospitalizations and low vaccinated rate that's inthe 30 percentiles 36.23

Well not "just as easily" catch it. But, yes, you can catch it and pass it on after vaccination.
No vaccine is 100%. Birth Control is not 100% but we trust it. No one is claiming that the vaccine makes you impervious, but it greatly reduces both the chance of transmission and the severity of infection if transmitted. How are either of those things a negative exactly? If the virus cannot transmit as easily and cannot live as long, then that's how you control an outbreak and also how you control the chances of mutated strains. We take dozens of vaccines. Kids now get Chicken Pox vaccines and how many people did Chicken Pox kill when we were young? No one I know of. I don't understand why this vaccine is controversial except people want it to be for some unknown reason.

I had a feeling that the NFL would issue some type of vaccine protocol. This has the potential to be disruptive amongst the players and owners. The owners make the rules and if a player wants to play, they must sometimes follow the rules whether they agree with them or not.

You're preaching to the choir. I'm totally in the we-need-to-all-get-vaccinated camp. I was just pointing out that yes, you can still get it, but not nearly as easily. Especially after seeing JD's ironic calling of others "ignorant."

Not hard to find, actually.
"Infections are rising fastest among young Britons — many of whom have only received one dose. But the ZOE app counts these people as 'vaccinated' even though they are not yet fully protected by two doses. A second dose of all vaccines has been shown to be much more effective than a first dose against the Indian 'Delta' variant."

The UK has not followed the vaccine protocol, they have delayed the second dose for many people, which provides a MUCH HIGHER degree of protection. Context is very important. They are also using the Astra vaccine to some degree, which is not as effective as the MRNA vaccines from Moderns and Pfizer.

The way vaccines work is that after you get fully vaccinated, two doses of MRNA vaccine, your body is equipped to produce antibodies to deal with any future infection. You can't totally prevent an infection from getting to you from an infected person, but with the vaccine (or from previous natural immunity from an infection) your body is ready to fight it off immediately. You might still test "positive" for an infection, but you have a MUCH HIGHER chance of fighting it off compared to someone with zero immunity.

The NFL will be interesting this year. I hope we can have full fan attendance this year.

The case rate is meaningless because authorities are constantly monkeying with the PCR test cycle count to drive the policy results they want.. Just throw case rate in the trash because it cannot possibly be used in any rational way to inform policy or make an argument. The death and hospitalization #'s are just as rigged but y'all clearly not ready to understand that yet.

I even say that when it bolsters my viewpoint that the vaccines are ineffective (and likely destructive to our health, especially when next flu season hits). The model country when it comes to vaccination has the same "case rate" as the poor, dumb, racist, misogynistic, trans-phobic US. Whoop de doo.

Outside of Pfizer's rigged studies and our lying journalists and doctors there is no evidence to support taking the "vaccine" folks. You will regret it if you do. Follow the science (especially the censored pre-print studies), get on a generic prophylactic, and get back to living. Control group is not gonna be happy about having to take care of y'alls broken immune systems and busted up DNA. Think for yourselves.

I will say that what the NFL is doing here is absolutely hilarious--in a morbid way--and hopefully will wake a few athletes up.

What would cancelled games mean for players who have performance bonuses?

If you're a RB with a million dollar bonus if you score 17 TDs, that's one a game

If your game is forfeited and you end the year at 16 TDs, that still one per game played

Do you get the bonus? or are you SOL?
SOL

Basically this boils down to this: There is no TEAM forfeitures, economic or other wise for the vaccinated players and staff. Who follow NFL Covid protocols. That test positive.

No I don’t think that’s what it says. Although I’m not sure exactly what you’re saying due to your unconventional punctuation.
