I think it's more of he may have thought he still had a year or so in him and wanted to go but found it hard too. I'm sure it was a difficult decision for him. It's interesting b/c he struggled early and his best years were late in his career, esp on the Eagles he found success but glad he came back here to retire a Saint.

Look at Josh Hill, same thing kinda happened to him. He retired thinking he still had more left but those injuries catch up to you and P. Rob and Josh Hill have had some injuries that may just be too much at this pt.
