I can tell you when Payton evaluates his QBs he's not going to look at the TDs and INTs statistics and call it a day. He will grade each throw based on the film. The TD throw won't grade higher just because it was a TD.
I don’t entirely disagree with you - Payton will be looking at all of this in a way none of us are able to. He knows what his expectations are for every player on the field, and for every play he calls.
But I think you’ve got it wrong on the TD pass. Red zone production is an area of importance and I think Payton will be evaluating it in that context. The field shrinks, the margin for error is tighter, and the goal for every possession is a TD.
