The Investment Thread

Could use a GME squeeze soon. Put in an offer for a house in upstate South Carolina. Owners took down the listing in 17 hours after numerous offers came in. We put a bid 10K over asking and it went 30K over asking.
We were fortunate. In one of of the hottest markets in the country, where bids over asking price are commonplace and buyer paying pretty much everything, I managed to get our new house in at $15k under list. No regrets. Even if the market turns south, we should be alright.
