Over the last 4 years, Sean Payton has assembled some of his best coaching staffs ever! The “formula” first starts with bringing in good “coachable” players who are willing to work hard, but are also willing to listen m learn. The next part has been bringing in more “teaching coaches”, who focus on paying lotsa attention on technique n detail. WR Coach CJ. O line Coach Dan Roushar. In only his second year, LB Coach Michael Hodges has his crew ballin! New DB Coach Kris Richard already has his group stepping up n playing fast!

Now, I might be a lil biased here, but I think Ryan Nielsen is the BEST D line Coach in the NFL! With the loss of Malcom Brown n David Onyemata out for the first 6 games, we’ll be going into the season with a crew made up of 6th/7th round picks n UDFAs at DT.

Am I worried?

No, cause I got…Ryan Nielsen!

I agree with everything. I think you bring up a good point about CSP hiring teaching coaches. The college came has changed so much that there are certain positions (offensive line/defensive line) where these players don't learn/play the game the way it is played at the NFL level among experienced grown men. Factor in what CSP expects out of his WRs and now the type of secondary play we'll have under Kris Richard and these teaching coaches are needed. Mentioned above with what Ireland has done finding these guys, these teaching coaches and CSP going with the Parcels mindset of it doesn't matter where you came from, that's a good recipe to develop talent and not just have to sign the best FAs which can become a disaster fairly quick.
