Austin, Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio are all distinct. Even Ft. Worth vs Dallas is different. All of these are very different than the country. As a native Texan who has lived in Houston, Dallas & Austin, I can confirm this. Geographically and culturally, each city and region is very different.

Also, it's silly to me to see people from Louisiana talk about how hot and humid it is in Texas. Louisiana is also hot and even more humid which makes it worse.
