Also, it's silly to me to see people from Louisiana talk about how hot and humid it is in Texas. Louisiana is also hot and even more humid which makes it worse.

Ive lived in Houston and Austin , and spent significant time over the years in SA and Dallas.. there is a certain ‘Texas’ mentality .. again, not with ALL people .. but it is pervasive.

I would personally never claim that La isnt hot and humid, unbearably so.. ive had debates with people about which is hotter and more humid, Houston or NOLA.. my theory has always been that they have identical crappy weather.. but in NOLA, you are usually walking around more, strolling through the Quarter, walking to the Dome for Saints games, etc, so you NOTICE the heat more.. in Houston i feel like people spend the majority of their time in air conditioning, in homes and vehicles.. but both are brutal, which is why i dont live in either place anymore.
