2022--The Year We Move Up for a QB

Roethlisberger went to AFCCG in rookie year and won SB in year 2.

Mahomes in year 3.

Rookie QB doesn't mean your're 8-8 or worse for the next 3-4 years necessarily.

I'm not saying that we need to go draft a high pick QB. Just that nowadays your reasoning isn't the reason we shouldn't do it.
You picked 2 example of teams that were already really good teams.

KC had Alex smith and Steelers top qb was Tommy Maddox both had been to the playoffs in recent years.

If Winston continues to play the way he is and shows improvement when MT and Smith come back, the Saints will try to resign him. Everything you guys say he can't do he has done. Just go look at the highlight reels. Having only undrafted free agents to throw to is hurt the team bad right now. Not to mention that his #2 reciever is only 5ft 6.

As for Winston not being able to take the team to the SB, that is just garbage talk. This guy is a good qb. He can be great given the right chance.

It is far too early to Judge if he is the answer for the future or not. We are .500 and not a single one of our 2 losses is on him.

I already saw posts about what Daniel Jones did with out his top WRs. lets look at that

Kenny Galladay- former probowler/ 16 mill per year contract
John Ross- first round pick
Toney- 1st round pick
Evan Engram- averages 60 catches per year
Kyle Rudolph- 2 time probowler

Looking at this can you say he is doing more with the same weapons that winston has.
It not even close to same.
