Okay, I just rewatched the funeral episode and forgot that Rupert whispers something to Nate as he's leaving and we're left to guess what that was about. I forgot that happened. Rupert hates Ted so I guess that he planted the notion in Nate that brought about Nate's actions in the last episode.
