Why does our 5'6" receiver not do more comeback routes?

I apologize in advance if I get this wrong, because I'm more in tuned with offensive line than WR play.

Harris is on the 25 yard line running towards the sideline. There is just a whole bunch space underneath.

This route is basically DOA unless is Harris butt naked wide up. I seen this concept with Harris probably way too many time where his route just get DOA by design.

DB has the height advantage and inside leverage to make a play on the ball. So, there is only way place to throw ball. At the sideline... High Arch back shoulder throw. It's a really high level throw that's really risky because of Harris's height. If DB got hops... It can easily be picked out of the sky at the catch point.

We know Harris can flip the brakes. He eating DBs up on curls.

Unless Harris going deep shot. They need to add an option comeback route when he sees wide open green towards the QB.

His change of direction is so underutilized and it's probably the one thing that can hide his height disadvantage.

I agree. Harris is not quite as big as Tyreek Hill, but he has the same type of speed and ability to change gears and can run the whole route tree too.
