Young couple goes on van tour of US, boy comes back with van - no girl
So how I'm shaping this up in my head.
Sept 1st: Brian returns home, him and his parents make their way to Cassie Laundries home in the Mustang. Lawyers up with the family attorney shortly after. (he is not representing Cassie Laundrie, Brians sister)
Sept 4th: Brian and his mother buy a new phone. This phone is the same phone not taken with Laundrie when he goes missing per family attorney.
Sept 6th-8: The family makes the trip to Fort De Soto, Cassie joins them on the 6th at 2pm and leaves at 8pm, cites kids having school the next day.
Sept 11th: Gabby is officially a missing person.
Sept 13th: (New Time line/news broke yesterday he goes missing on the 13th instead of the 14th) Brian goes "hiking in the Carlton Reserve" Takes the mustang where its returned a day or two later. Brian named Person of Interest
Sept 17th: Brian's reported missing. Big Hunt starts
Sept 19th: The Bethunes spot Gabby's van on Aug 27th, via dashboard cam during a dirt road travel in a teton's dispersed camp ground. On second glance, they confirm what they saw was Gabby's van and upload the video to youtube.
Sept 19th: Gabby's body is found shortly after.
Sept 20th: FBI arrives at the Laundrie's house and begins searching, removes the mustang from the drive way and puts crime tape around the property.
Sept 21st: Coroner rules the death of Gabby Petito a Homicide.
Sept 24th: Arrest Warrant for Brian Laundrie comes out from the Denver FBI's office for unlawful debit card charges of at least 1000$ belonging to a card he did not own(assumed to be Gabby's debit card) The search now officially becomes a man hunt, search efforts get severely ramped up at the Carlton Reserve.
Sept 26th: Dog The Bounty hunter shows up at the Laundries home in North Port, Florida.
Speculation: The FBI+North Port police saw something either on trail cams or someone reported seeing him inside the Carlton Reserve past Sept 13th. This caused a major ramp up in search there. I don't personally think he's there anymore but was probably there at some point after the 13th. The rainy season would make it hard to move around with various paths getting randomly flooded out.
A story getting lots of media attention lately is the story by a hiker at the Appalachian trail who is from Orlando, Dennis Davis. He claims to have spoken to Brian Laundrie who was in a supposed newer model, F-150'ish like, white or light colored truck. The alleged encounter took place on a country road at 12:30am. Davis says he was looking for a parking lot and missed it, he makes a U-turn on waterville road near Hartford Tenn. Davis claims he is approached and waved down by a man he later says was Brian Laundrie. Davis says that the alleged Laundrie sounded confused, wore either a bandana or a shirt tied around his head. The alleged Laundrie tells Davis that he's lost and he's trying to get to California because him and his girl had a fight and he had to go see her. Davis responds he could take I-40 which was about a half mile away and ride it all the way west. The man alleged to be Brian Laundrie says he'll take the backroads instead and leaves the area. Davis claims the man was really erratic and very weird, sounded confused but did not slur any words. Davis then drives on I-40 and pulls over at an area off an exit or two and searches Laundries picture and called the FBI and police multiple times after.
Is this a legit encounter: Two major things going against this is Davis mispronouncing Laundrie with "Lowery" in the recording of his call. The second, the F150 truck, where would he acquired the truck? Are we to believe that Laundrie at some point graduated off foot from the Carlton Reserve to a newer model F150 truck?
One interesting thing about this encounter: Davis mentioned the alleged Laundrie wore either a bandana or a shirt covering his head, perhaps concealing him being bald. All the pictures Brian Laundrie is seen in, up until yesterday, has shown he wears mostly ballcaps when on the road. Cassie Laundrie gives Good Morning America another interview where she shares several photos of Brian Laundrie at Fort De Soto camp ground on Sept 6th.
http://www.nbatitlechase.com/2021/1...-on-the-cove-at-fort-de-soto-park-in-florida/ As you can see, he is covering his head here, so it does prove he WILL cover his head up with a shirt or something similar.
