2022--The Year We Move Up for a QB

If you draft a franchise QB in this weak draft. You're basically telling to the core of your team that in it's prime that we are no longer in the business of trying to win a championship for a couple of season.

Then, you expect Rattler or Corral to be franchise guy is asking a lot. This is the one QB draft class that isn't even worth it.
Threads like this makes me question ones football acumen or they are so focused on the Saints that they can't see the forest for the trees. I hate to pick on this post but:

Been saying this! Mahommes, jackson, allen, herbert will be in playoff hunt every year. We don’t need to see anymore from Winston. If you watched last night you should have noticed a huge difference in Herberts play vs winston. Im not saying Jameis is bad at all but he definitely is NOT elite. I know all the sunshine pumpers want to believe that but its 💯 the truth. So lets roll with him this year and draft our franchise quarterback
-Mahomes was GIFTED the reigning AFC Champions. And folks wanted to put everything on Alex Smith for the reason they couldn't get over the hump but they won a SB the first year after Sutton was fired. Just saying.
-The Ravens offense was BUILT for Jackson
-The Bills and Chargers were building a strong team before each respective player was drafted (not to mention Diggs impact on the Bills in 2020)

None were the #1 pick and all got drafted into better situations (infinitely better in the case of Mahomes) than the one that you can easily dismiss. If you don't understand this difference, I don't know what to tell you.
