Depends on whether they think public statements would be helpful or harmful. If they believe they’re closing in on him, they probably will maintain a low profile. If he’s simply at large, they’ll probably call on the public to assist.
They may also be trying to get a new warrant now and waiting on that.
Yeah, but at this point, nobody's falling for "closing in". Sure, they know more than what they're saying, which was my point, but I thought they were "closing in" 2 weeks ago and would have had him then.
