This reminds me of the story a while back about the hiker who got his arm wedged by a boulder (in a remote part of Utah , I think) and could not free himself without hacking off his arm with a pocket knife. I can only imagine how tough that decision was to pull off.
But this is where the similarities end. I'm pretty sure that hiker hadn't previously murdered his girlfriend. :unsure:
