Just a tragic case. The presumed murderer being dead doesn’t quite seem like justice for people somehow. I personally highly doubt that the parents had anything to do with the murder. I’m pretty sure they knew their son killed Gabby. Either that or they were impossibly naive, gullible, in denial, and/or stupid.
They win the award for really cruddy human being. Doubtful that they’ll get legal punishment. It’s not against the law to really suck at being a human (see Goodell…though of course not on the same level). They failed to raise a functioning son who ended up killing someone. They then enable same son. They then allow same son to kill himself. I mean…they have failed on every level. But I don’t necessarily think that they deserve to have there son kill himself…come on people…nobody deserves that.
