2024 7th for Ingram

It all began with simple conversation between Payton and Loomis a few days ago:
“Mickey and I talked about it in Seattle and we felt like it was worth calling, just kind of poking around,” he added. “Once that momentum began, I was still somewhat skeptical, just relative to the role he was playing for them.”

Very nice "what the heck, let's give it a shot" call.

And here we are with Mark Ingram on board for a 2024 7th round pick. And with a one-year extended contract to pretty much guarantee he retires with the team he should. And a highly likely chance he'll play on Sunday.

This all pleases me, greatly.
