Young couple goes on van tour of US, boy comes back with van - no girl

I have a suspicion that whatever they're ultimately able to salvage will be anticlimactic anyway. We want a page to say, "Yes, I did it and here's why I did it" and it won't. That would require him to have had some understanding into his own psyche and he didn't have any. He was worried about being polite to authority figures and sitting criss cross applesauce and not drinking out of plastic bottles and castigating litterers. He had no clue how to moderate his own selfish emotions and feelings into empathy or concern for others in a way that would prevent him from KILLING HIS OWN GIRLFRIEND. My heart wants a reason, my head tells me no way he suddenly had an epiphany before he laid down to die to put down in words something that would give anyone any kind of understanding. So good riddance.

How do you really feel about it? lol. If Brian did kill Gabby, what possible reason do you think he had? Does that change anything?

As of now, no one knows who or what killed Brian, it's still a mystery. How did he end up underwater? Is it possible he drowned himself? Maybe someone saw him and took the law in their own hands?

You figure if a person spends many hours at a park and is experienced in outdoor camping, he would of been a little more careful. To me it points to suicide or foul play. Can't really see it any other way right now.

Just trail blazing in the middle of no where shows a lack of caution, it reminds of the story of the guy who just left college and moved to Alaska, but later starved to death. Maybe Brian ran out of water or food, got weak, fell down, and animals had dinner?!?!
