Call me sensitive but I thought the comment was classless and completely out of line for not only a Saints fan but an individual attempting to be a professional in sports media.
Haven't paid attention to anything he's posted, or any content of his posted since.
Everyone knew Drew's shortcomings '17-'20. We were still making it work, and the NFL robbed us from our legitimate last chance at a superbowl in 18. After 19 we knew it was over, and in 20 it was his farewell season, which guess what? We owed him a farewell season after everything he's done for not only this franchise but this city and region.
I was as furious as anyone that we didn't beat the Bucs. A lot of things went against us for that to happen, including Drew having a poor game. But he was playing through multiple injuries. Harris went out, Jared Cook fumbled as we were going up 2 scores, and we gave the game away.
Even when Drew has significant fault, I'd never come close to having that disrespectful of a thought about the best and most iconic player in our franchise's history. To see someone trying to make it as an analyst covering our team throw that kinda disrespect publicly? Nah, not interested in his work.
