I seriously do mean that. Lets just be happy Saints won the game and are now 5-2, and any discussions of Payton's late-game decisions are essentially moot points.
Yes! Be happy and whine less.

Winning is often the best anasthetic. This has been a different, "New Frontier" sort of season where most of us werent sure 2 .months ago what kind of team we were going to get, other than it was going to be entirely different from what we've known and been used to for 15 years?
Winston, God Bless.him, has stepped up and boldly met that challenge. That's why his injury today stings so much, because we all know how hard, diligently, and faithfully he worked to get his career back on track. It hurts me to see Winston get hurt. And I know it does Payton, too because it makes his job even harder having to deal with different starting QBs now as a result of injuries.
Payton's called far more good or intelligent plays than bad ones this season and throughout his entire HC career as Saints HC, and he's shown he can adapt and change his gameplan so all's well thats ends well.
