Of all teams with 2 or fewer losses in the NFC, only Saints have a loss(es) to teams with more than 2 losses.
I'm more of a glass half full guy so I looked at strength of wins(SOW) or the record of the teams they beat and came up with:
Team | Strength of Wins | Winning Percentage of Teams They Beat |
7-1 Packers | SOW 24-30 | .44 winning percentage |
7-1 Cardinals | SOW 25-28 | .47 winning percentage |
7-1 Rams | SOW 18-37 | .33 winning percentage |
6-1 Cowboys | SOW 20-25 | .44 winning percentage |
6-2 Buccaneers | SOW 20-26 | .43 winning percentage |
5-2 Saints | SOW 22-18 | .55 winning percentage |
The Saints seem to play up to the level of competition or down to the level of competition depending on your perspective. When forecasting the Saints before the season I had the Saints beating Carolina, NYG, WFT and New England while losing to Green Bay, Seattle and Tampa Bay. Thank goodness sports betting wasn't legal in the state until today.:ROFLMAO:
