Nagy's offense is a disaster. The players all know that and were glad when Nick offered Nagy his opinion on things.
Nick Foles might be the third-string backup for the Chicago Bears at quarterback. Yet that hasn’t stopped the longtime veteran from having a voice in the locker room. He has fast become somebody teammates respect. Especially when it comes to the situation regarding the offense. Even as far back as last season, he was spotted having animated conversations with head coach Matt Nagy whenever the unit was struggling. It wasn’t hard to surmise he had strong feelings about its overall ineffectiveness so far this year.
Nick is a smart kid who is big and strong and competes hard. He would be a great fit with Payton and an upgrade over what we have now. I don't see it happening but I don't think the no trade clause would stop it.
