Regardless, I am just happy to be a Saints fan. They are fighting man and that is what we are asking the team to do. We have the best coach in the league.
This right here. The fact our fandom is at a place where we expect to be in the playoffs, even after losing our QB1 for the year, just speaks to Sean Payton's greatness. The rest of the coaching staff, too.
Remember just a few short years ago, having to watch special teams plays through your fingers? The worst defenses in league history? Having to wash down heart medication with a bottle of whiskey? We are 5-2 with this offensive roster. Our best WR on the bench. Our jack of all trades, wildcard beast-man on the bench. Defenses able to completely key on AK and he's still doing his thing.
I've railed on SP for some of his wildly arrogant play calls in the past, but honestly, I think these past few years have made me appreciate him more than any piece of the Saints organization since I became of fan of this team when I was six years old. Even Brees, easily my favorite athlete ever.
