Oldman is a lot like Daniel Day Lewis in that respect. But Lewis only wants to do hoity-toity fancypants “films” while Oldman has no problem doing genre crowd pleasers like The Fifth Element, or the Harry Potter or Dark Knight franchises.
i'm not sure i agree - DDLewis is much more from the Method acting school - Gary Oldman is much more from the Classical (British) Acting style
