My all time favorite band but just my opinion. Dave is a great song writer and very skilled with musical instruments. I volunteered last year to create the senior power point slides, as my son was a graduating senior to showcase the genius of some of their songs. I grabbed acoustic versions of My Hero and Times Like These edited them down to the collage of photos, starting with My Hero as a youth to Times Like These as a Teenager. There were tears everywhere and I knew I had to lighten the mood at the end, so I mixed in a little DMX Stop, Drop….on his senior photos ending it with the iconic Kanye West “Chic-Fil-A” to dry the eyes for a laugh.
