My whole purpose for posting this was to raise the level of civility a little. I see some posts about other fan forums but why should I care about that? I've been to many of them.

And yeah it's an internet forum so there's always going be some of that but it's worse here now than it's ever been.

It clearly was a joke. And I wouldn't take it all too seriously. I know sometimes sarcasm, good natured ribbing and such doesn't always translate well in this medium, but a lot of posters here know each other's posting styles well, so that helps with knowing if one is serious.
