I think It just depends on a lot of factors, career choice, family, kids, faith, stage in life, etc. There's a place for everybody, whether you love the big city, the kid friendly suburbs, or the quiet anonymity of living in the country. Everywhere has its tradeoffs, even California, lol.
Oh I agree, was just commenting more on the state of affairs in our country right now, all the hatred, unrest etc. Makes me enjoy my private place even more. And aesthetically too, I’m big on beauty and it’s beautiful here, to me.
Cali, lol vacationed there all the time as grew up a hop skip and a jump away. Some parts are great imo, others not so much. As with all places I’m quite sure. Whatever floats one’s boat.
