It would set a bad precedent to rule that physicians should use unapproved treatments/methods.
I agree that the way that we do things may slow innovation, but we can't allow ourselves to be used as guinea pigs if we enter the wrong office/hospital.
i have no doubt that if the ivermectin caused even more issues, they would then turned around and say they doctors weren't adamant enough about not letting us use it..
