There was a story recently that Amy Pascal (producer on the movie and general Hollywood bigwig) was actively discouraging Holland and Zendaya from dating due to not thinking it was a good idea to mix professional and personal lives. Might have something to do with that.
Amy Pascal also threw a sandwich at Kevin Feige and started crying when he initially proposed Marvel and Sony co-produce the Spider-Man movies.
