He did say he has immuno-compromised mother and FIL, so I'm not sure it's that simple. Otherwise, yeah.

Regardless, if a family knows someone is positive with Covid, the prudent thing is to stay home the few days necessary then after that do what you want. It's really not that hard. People being dense and sending infected kids or adults to gatherings is just reckless.
