Are you willing to get the Covid vaccine when offered?

So I always knew I would eventually get the vaccine but felt I had plenty of time and put if off for reasons like "I am going to a grandchildren party this weekend, don't want to be sick" so I ended up spending about 3 weeks in the hospital with covid and pneumonia. While talking to my infectious disease doctor I became convinced it was important for me to get the vaccine. He recommended the Moderna. I had to wait 90 days because of antibodies. I had my first vaccine 3 weeks ago. Was pretty sick the next day and felt fantastic the day after. My second shot is in a few weeks. Should I spread the shot out further or get it on time? Will I be sick after my second shot? I am asking for your opinions and experiences. Thank you.
There is a bit of a window, at least that's what I was told for the Pfizer vaccine. I didn't really feel much of anything other than some slight soreness in my arm. The window was something like 2 weeks to 40 days after the first shot for the second.

Reactions really do vary. Some get a reaction from the first and nothing from the second or vice versa. It seems like everyone reacts a little differently, probably because of our immune systems all varying in strength and maybe previous exposure to Covid that we may or may not be aware of.

I'm just glad you made it out of the hospital and recovered. Hope all goes well.
