immunity alone to protect you, you are out of your mind. The best choice is and always has been to get vaccinated.

Well, yeah. If you care about immunity in the first place, it's implicit that being infected is the thing you're trying to avoid.

You'd expect immunity from prior infection to typically (but not always) be decent, that's generally how it works. But as a way of avoiding being infected, the horses already left the barn on that one.
