Would ya'll be happy with Dennis Allen as HC and..

Payton is the offensive genius not Carmichael, so I have questions in terms of his ability to create an offensive philosophy and calling old Sean Payton plays dies not make you an OC.

Payton formulates an offense, can CarMicheal do that? Payton has visions for players, does Carmichael have an eye for talent like that?
This is going to be the biggest blow Payton could create based on what he had. That’s not something easily replaced. He didn’t have a fixed way of doing things or an ego when it came to game plans where he forced things. There is also a reason we could usually pull thru in the 2nd half. He could see what was there to take.

I think Carmichael deserves a shot he did it in 2012 and when Sean Payton was out but I sadly think we are in for a drop off and I see no fix at QB because if Pitt comes calling I doubt Winston stays here or our ability to attract QB talent without Payton. 2022 is going to be payback year for all the good times we had over the last decade plus.

Maybe that fact alone lead to Payton’s last “I have seen enough”
