Well, my last TV was a 48" Sony Bravia LCD bought in 2007. Never had a problem with it. Still have it and the picture still looks new. I really like the GoogleTV built in. Downloading apps is easy and more and more shows and movies are being made available on those streaming apps like Disney+ and such. The picture is fantastic. It's got everything I need in a TV. The only thing I wish it had would be a component video in/out because I do have a couple of devices I would have liked to be able to connect to the TV that way. I don't miss it though.

The reviews for the TV are pretty solid. Word of warning. The TV is very thin, so it's really important to unbox with care. You don't want to grab it by the top of the screen because of how thin it is. I got mine for $1800. I think it becomes a solid value under $2k. It got down to like $1600 at Best Buy a couple of weeks ago. They bumped it back up tho.
