Best Heavy Metal Band of all time. (Do people still listen to metal?)

Pantera and Slayer are right up there

But my personal favorite still has to be Black Sabbath. If there was ever a band that lived it it had to be Sabbath.

I mean Metallica now all look like they would be perfectly happy being grandpas and bbqing burgers on a Sunday afternoon.

According to all the articles and polls, Black Sabbath is in the top 3 of all of them, so this gives creditability to Black Sabbath being the best of the Metal Bands.

I think as Americans we are biased to think Metallica is the biggest and this maybe true in America, but maybe Black Sabbath is the best Metal Band of all time.

At this point, my mind is leaning towards Black Sabbath being the best metal band, and also one of the scariest bands. lol. Maybe Slayer is scarier, but Black Sabbath feels like the best metal band.

I think one will have to say, why Black Sabbath isn't the best metal band, and give evidence on why another band is superior.
