I don't think it looks particularly bad for either team, especially us. We are unsettled at QB and the Falcons have one that is older and won't be there much longer. Ryan has been in the NFL long enough to understand business is business. That said I wouldn't have been upset if we got Watson and I'm not upset we didn't. If that is the contract he was looking for - honestly - I don't think he is worth that kind of money.

I'm plenty happy to be keeping the money and the draft picks and keep building our team and hopefully getting a sane salary cap situation.

I guess a lot of it depends on if you think we are close to winning right now. I'm not that convinced we are. I'd be fine with signing and continuing to work with Winston and getting a respectable receiving group back in place.
