Cooks has always been good, his problems though are twofold. First, he avoids contact like the plague and always has, even in college. The other is the guy trips and falls when he even Sees a DBs shadow. If the Saints are going to keep him on the perimeter and use him in routes of lesser contact, then it’s fine. If they expect him to run physical routes no use in even trying.
Remember when he was here both him and Ingram were complaining about lack of touches. Payton fed them both. The difference is Mark had the best streak a New Orleans RB has ever had with the possible exception of Rodgers. Cooks numbers went down and was shown the door after that season
